2 10 2006A variation on a theme that gave me a good laugh…
At a U2 concert in Glasgow, Bono asks the audience for some quiet.
Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands.
Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone
“Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies.”
A voice from near the front pierces the silence;
“Well, stop fookin’ doin’ it then!”
I needed that. Thanks for the chuckle.

And loved your Quebec photos too. The first time I visited Toronto we were going to split the trip with a few days in Quebec, but we never found the time. Maybe another time I’ll get there. It certainly looks worth it.
