I fixed the issue with the pages today. I had been wondering why they were not appearing on my site, since they were clearly available in my database. Which meant that the import had worked perfectly. I thought that pages hadn’t been imported along with my posts, and I was working myself up to cutting an pasting.
Then I did some more digging and tweaked some of the page parameters. Changed “publish” to “static”, in my sql, edited the pages from my dashboard, reset the page menu numbers, et voila! The page appeared in my blog. It was then a simple matter to edit the remaining pages.
Hurrah!
I also installed some more neat Stats tools and plugins…Mint and Google Analytics. Both marvellous. At last I’ll be able to do some proper analytics.

Believe it or not I don’t know that much about sql… I learnt by trial and error. And I know a whole lot more now. I was so pleased to have worked things out myself though. I just kept at it until I figured it out. I’ll be a pro in no time. Ha!
Yes, I am using Mint, but Google Analyticslooks pretty good too especially for a free program. And so is Performancing. I’m also trying out Statscounter, which is also pretty good.
