I wanted to share this – I thought it so fitting for the season – and so true.
A smile costs nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None are so rich they can get along without it, and none are so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.
And if in the last-minute rush of Christmas buying some of our salespeople should be too tired to give you a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!

i dont smile, i find it hard, i have predominant fangs, which i love, but i dont smile.. and xmas is never a happy time for me, my dads birthday was on the 14th and he died 16 years ago, 3 days before my 16th birthday. so at this time of year it depresses me, so i rarely smile even then. its just my way, if anyone sees me not smiling, and they know me, they know i am just being mercurior..
A big smile and a very Merry Christmas to you.

I love to smile when I have something to smile about. Like a good conversation or a good time with someone. The holidays are always something to smile about, even when I’m not happy. I take pleasure in other people enjoying themselves, so I like to be around people when I’m feeling down. It’s these times, with family and friends, that makes me smile no matter what’s going on in my life.
Your next post made me smile. I especially like the “poison” comic. Thank you!
I wish you and your hubby a very merry Christmas!
