House Of Cards Ian Richardson Dies

15 02 2007

Very sad news.

More than a good actor, who can forget Ian Richardson as the scheming PM Francis Urquhart in House Of Cards, To Play the King, The Final Cut and An Ungentlemanly Act. And in Porterhouse Blues and Sherlock Holmes? And In Tinker Tailor, Soldier, Spy?

And of course his famous one-liner from House of Cards will never be forgotten… as he would probably say… “You may very well think that; I couldn’t possibly comment.”

A great actor indeed, one of the best.

@Dave - Thanks! For the comment and for the link and for the compliment :)
@all - yep, he was one of the best… I have House of Cards, To Play The King and The Final Cut on DVD… so I’ll be able to enjoy them again.

Edit - @Dave… errm I see what you mean about the picture lol. Actually, it’s quite funny.. I did have a laugh. I don’t look anything like that of course (much better looking) but I like it. Thanks for the link!
